Ann Cassidy Smith

Lexington— A Mass of Christian Burial for Ann Cassidy Smith, 84, of Lexington, will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2350 Augusta Hwy, Lexington, SC 29072, with burial in Bush River Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The Reverend Raymond J. Carlo will officiate. Ann was born in Buckingham, IL and was the daughter of the late, James Patrick Cassidy and Sybella Havener Cassidy.She was a member ofCorpus Christi Catholic Church and was a member of the Legion of Mary, and former member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and in Florida Our Lady’s of the Lourdes.They moved to Irmo in 1975, at the time of retirement they moved to Venice, Florida residing for 19 years, then moved back to South Carolina to be closer to the family. She loved baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving is her daughter, Michele Smith Wessinger of Irmo; sons, Mike Smith (Connie) of Jacksonville, FL and Steve Smith (Joelle) of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, Kate, Christopher, Jordan, Kyle, Charlotte, Ben,and Sam; one great-grandchild, Maddox.
