Claire E. Bebbington, 75, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian Eckman. She was a teacher at McGregor Preschool and a Store Manager at Hi-Lites clothing store for many years. Mrs. Claire took many trips to Hilton Head with her husband, Pete and daughter, Crystal yearly where she enjoyed shopping, primarily for clothes. She was a delightful cook, prepping many wonderful meals for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William "Pete" Bebbington; her daughter, Crystal Bebbington; and her two beloved cats, Wally and Scarlett.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Lillian Eckman; and her sister, Ginger.
