Betty Clark Dodson

LEXINGTON—Betty Clark Dodson,84, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 20, 2016.She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, James W. “Bill” Dodson.Born August 2, 1932 in Simpsonville, SC to the late Floyd Clark and Lillian Moore Clark. Betty was an active member of St. Andrew’s Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her four children, Dianne (Eddie) Bundrick, Sr. of Chapin, Jimmy (Kathy) Dodson, Jr. of Lexington, Sandra Williams of Columbia and Laurie (Allen) Hopka of Lexington; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Clark of Simpsonville. She was preceded in death by her husband,sister, Faye Clark and a brother, Bruce Clark. A memorial service for Betty Clark Dodson, of Lexington will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016at St. Andrew’s Baptist Church,230 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
