Brandon Michael Cox

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brandon M. Cox age 31, of Chapin, SC who passed away May 20, 2021. He was born in Columbia SC and graduated from Chapin High School.He was a talented violinist and artist.He loved being around people and never met a stranger. His smile was as bright as his personality.He was an EMT and had a passion for working as a mechanic. He is survived by his loving mother, Patsy Sealey and stepfather Steve Sealey; his brothers Justin T. Cox (Samantha) and Christopher Sealey; his grandparents Albert and Margie Cox; Many beloved Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; Nephews Caleb Cox and Colby Cox; his special friend Brandon Letterman and his sweet loving dog Teddy.He was recently predeceased by his father Tim Cox. Also predeceased by his maternal grandparents Wilbur and Mary Frances Joiner. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He touched so many lives in his short time here on this earth. He has left this world far too soon and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Chapin United Methodist Church, 415 Lexington Ave., Chapin, SC 29036on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials may be made to Chapin Methodist Church, Chapin SC or SC EMS Association at SCEMSA.org
