Donald Dean Galloway passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022.He was born on December 7, 1949, in Easley, SC.Donald was the son of the late Edwin Woodrow Galloway and Bessie Bowen Galloway. Donald grew up in Columbia in the Earlewood Community and graduated from the old Columbia High School, class of 1968.While at C.H.S., Donald was a member of the Les Truands.After High School, he served briefly in the Air National Guard.Mr. Galloway worked as a technician for many years in the family business known as Galloway Music Company. Donald was a good-natured person who enjoyed creating, whether it was building or repairing a project.In addition, he was skillful at gardening.Donald had a knack for finding and planting unique, colorful flowers and shrubbery in his yard.You could count on Donald to help others in need. Surviving: brother, Ronald Edwin Galloway (Karen); sisters, Angeleen Hunter and Pat Blue (Don); niece, Cindy Hunter; grand-nephew, Hunter Pope (Tracy).He was preceded in death by his late parents and his wife, Hulda Roberts Galloway, and son, Donald Dean Galloway, Jr. Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family with a private service.
