Earl Singley,

The cryptside service for Mr. Arthur Earl Singley, Jr. 87, of Newberry, will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Bush River Memorial Gardens.Dr. C. Clark McCrary III will officiate. Earl was born on December 19, 1933, in Newberry, SC, and passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland.He was the son of the late Arthur Earl Singley, Sr. and Vera Caldwell Singley.Earl was a longtime member of Irmo First Baptist Church and retired from the R. L. Bryan Company after 42 years of dedicated service.He graduated from Newberry High School and formerly attended Newberry College. Survivors include his sons, Art Singley of Newberry, Kent Singley (Donna) of Chapin and Tim Batten of Irmo; daughter, Melonie Ringer (Alvin) of Lexington; grandchildren, Scott Singley, Hannah Singley, Amanda Unterreiner (Kyle), Corey Ringer, and Jeremy Ringer; two beloved great-grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his son, Scott Singley, and a grandson, J.B. Blizzard, and 2 wives, Patricia and Jeanette.
