Eleanor C. Logan, 82, went to rest in Jesus on March 30, 2026, at Parkridge Hospital in Irmo, SC. She and her husband, Dan, were married for 24 years and resided in Irmo, SC, where they faithfully attended Riverland Hills Baptist church. She was born in Blackville, SC on November 22, 1943. She attended school in the Blackville school system and then went on to attend Newberry College and graduated from the University of South Carolina. She received her master’s degree in education from Western Carolina University. She taught elementary school in Richland County, SC and Buncombe County, NC where she retired after 25 years of preparing young children in furthering their education. She continued her love for teaching children at Biltmore Methodist Church in Asheville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Gordon S. and Marian K. Cain, along with her brother and sister-in-law, William (Bill) and Rose Cain and her beloved sister, Nell Cain Sharpe.

The fabric of her life was woven with faith, love, witness, caring, and service to others. She had a zest for life with a great sense of humor and a quick wit to go along with her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Logan; her daughter, Mandi Logan Wilson of Goose Creek, SC; and her grandchildren, Cooper and Liza Gray Wilson. She is also survived by her nieces, Kathryn Sharpe and Lynn Sharpe of Columbia, SC, whom she considered daughters; her beloved big brother, Robert (Bob) Sharpe of Fairview, NC; her nephews, Gordie Cain (Linda) of Naples, FL, Michael Sharpe of Villa Rica, GA, Barry (Leslie) Sharpe of Asheville, NC, and her dearest friend of 72 years, Sharon Barnette of Shelby, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverland Hills Baptist Church of Irmo, SC or other charities of your choice.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
