Lindler, 86, of Irmo will the held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Burial will be private.The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Lindler, beloved husband of Sara Bouknight Lindler passed away on Monday, March 09, 2015.Born in Little Mountain, SC, he was the son of the late Frank Jacob Lindler and Annie Mae Frick Lindler.He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War.He retired after 20 years of service from Lainer Construction Company. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sara B. Lindler of Irmo; son, Kris Everett Lindler (Laura) of Irmo; two grandchildren and7 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Lindler of Gilbert and sister, Wylene Smith of Prosperity.
