Frances W. Whisennant

Columbia—Frances Wade Whisennant, 87, of Columbia died peacefully on May 20, 2015.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Reverend Mark Bredholt will officiate. Ms. Whisennant was born in Chester, South Carolina on February 5, 1928.She was the daughter of the late Lee Lewis and Alene Dye Wade.Surviving are her children, Lamar Whisennant and his wife Donna of Heath Springs; Richard Whisennant of Great Falls; Wanda Evans and her husband Jay of Irmo; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a sister, Willie Lee Revels; and brothers, Harold Wade and Dixon Wade. She was retired from K-Mart Corporation where she was a Customer Service Associate.
