Gloria M. Humphries

A private graveside service for Gloria M. Humphries, 95, of Columbia, will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Robyn Garrison officiating. Gloria was born on June 21, 1925, in Hartsville, SC, and passed away on February 5, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.She was the daughter of the late Gary Evans Miller, Sr. and Carrie Bell Odom Miller.Gloria was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her son, H. Gordon Humphries, Jr., (Linda Fenters) of Camden, and daughter, Kathy Humphries DeBerry (Steve) of Lexington; 3 grandchildren, William Coleman Humphries (Jennifer) and Cory Douglas Humphries (Kaitlyn) all of Columbia, and Sarah Miller DeBerry (Trevor) of Lexington; one great-grandchild, Evan Bryant Humphries of Chapin.Those who preceded her in death include her late husband, H. Gordon Humphries, Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy Miller McLeod and Christine Miller Jones; two brothers, Gary Evans Miller, Jr. and Hubert Miller, Sr. Memorials in Mrs. Humphries’ honor may be directed to Trinity Presbyterian Church, VOE, 1000 Greenlawn Drive, Columbia, SC 29209.
