Harry Boma Patterson II

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harry Patterson II, age 40, of West Columbia, SC on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Harry was born June 1, 1985, to Harry and Vanessa Patterson. He attended Brookland-Cayce High School and earned many certificates in automotive and mechanic work. He worked most of his career as a mechanic, which was his passion and he was good at it.

Harry was known for his humor, energy and ability to make everyone around him laugh. He loved music, being with family, fishing and the outdoors. He was never short on lending a hand or even the shirt off his back, even in his own times of need. With all these wonderful highlights and memories, he leaves a legacy of strength, love and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa Patterson, and brother Richard Patterson. He is survived by his children; Brooke Windham, Harry Patterson III, and McKenna Patterson; his father, Harry Patterson Sr., and sister Mary Patterson Wines (Joe); nieces and nephews, Logan Patterson, Jaylin Thames, Jewel Thames, and Mia Wines. Many loving, extended family members and friends.

Please join us in celebration of Harry, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the City of Hope Worship Center located 1403 D Avenue in West Columbia, SC 29169. Service will be at 2:00 p.m. with visitation an hour prior to service. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road in Columbia, SC.
