Ida Ann "I'Anne" Rowe

Ida Ann “I’Anne” Rowe, 82, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, ]une 9, 2017.I’Anne was born on April 20, 1935, to Walter Hammerbeck and Mabel Dehli Hammerbeck.She grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, where she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Richard Rowe. I’Anne was a registered nurse and an active church leader, teacher, and choir member.She expressed her deep appreciation for the beauty of this world in her works of art.I’Anne’s greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. I’Anne is survived by siblings Louise Sellers, Alan Hammerbeck, and Helen Swanson; children Jeffrey Rowe, Gregory Rowe, Cheryl Rowe Coble and Steven Rowe, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Rowe, son Robert Rowe, and brother Paul Hammerbeck. I’Anne blessed the world with healing, hope, and happiness.Her death leaves a void that can never be filled, yet we rejoice in the knowledge that she rests in peace in the arms of her loving heavenly Father. Funeral services for I'Anne Rowe will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel.The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
