Janice Mize Daley

Janice Mize Daley (67), of Chapin, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018.Janice was born in Greenwood, S.C. on January 22, 1951.Janice attended Dentsville High School and Midlands Technical College.She worked in the banking industry for over forty years and retired from Wachovia Financial Services Company.At the time of her passing, Janice was a Vice President for South State Bank.Her passions included training future Bankers, fashion, and interior decorating, dancing and beach music. Mrs. Daley was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Charlotte Strom. She leaves behind her husband, Roger, and one daughter, Mary Paige Flynn (Calvin) of Somerset, Kentucky.Additional survivors include sisters, Sally Strom Hardy (John), Spartanburg, S.C., and Martha Jean Patterson of Greenwood, S.C., three grandchildren, Calli Burke (Shane), Morgan Cork (TeeJay), Erin Flynn and five great grandchildren, as well as the beloved family dog, Molly. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, S.C. 29212. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., for Mrs. Daley on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Chapin United Methodist Church, 415 Lexington Avenue, Chapin, S.C. 29036.Officiating will be Rev. Jody Flowers and Rev. Marcus Jackman. Memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, 810 Maxwell Avenue Greenwood, S.C. 29649 or the charity of one’s choice.
