LEXINGTON—John M. Sawvell Jr. passed Saturday March 14, 2015 with loving family and cherished friends by his side.He was the son of his loving mother Debra Cannon and his father John M. Sawvell, Sr. (Elizabeth); sisters Melissa Sawvell and Sarah Sawvell, brother-in-law Richard Liner and his beloved niece Hannah Liner. He had a passion for helping others and loved working in the healthcare field. He will always be remembered for the laughter he shared and his giving heart. John was born in Charlotte, NC on October 1, 1985 and was raised in Irmo, SC where he graduated high school. He later followed his dreams and moved to Virginia to work in the nursing field as a CNA for many years, before finishing out his career in New Jersey. He then returned to South Carolina to spend the rest of his days full of laughter, family, and friends. Visitation will be held at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Rd., Columbia, SC 29212 on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, March 20, 2015 at noon.
