COLUMBIA—The funeral service for Johnnie W. Gaskins, 77, of Columbia Will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018, in the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home.Entombment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The Reverend Dr. Lillie Burgess will officiate. Born April 20, 1941, in New Bern NC, he was the son of the late Willie Gaskins and Mariah Spikes Gaskins.Johnnie departed this life on Friday, April 27, 2018. He was the owner and operator of his own Trucking Business.Mr. Gaskins was an avid fisherman. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 37 years, Delores Moore Gaskins, daughters, Vivian Gaskins, Linda Stevenson, Shirley Gaskins Duval; sons, Trimayne Moore, Johnnie Gaskins, Jr.; sister, Sarah Gaskins-Mitchell; grandchildren, Shaqeria Gaskins, Vincent Stevenson, Brandon Stevenson,Tyski Stevenson and India Duval.
