COLUMBIA--Joseph Stephen Lassetter, 75, of Columbia died Saturday, April 1, 2017.Graveside services for Mr. Lassetter will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lassetter was born October 20, 1941 in Columbus, Georgia.He was the son of the late Oscar R. Lassetter and Dorothy Hill Lassetter.He worked for BellSouth for over 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Hudson Lassetter; son, Kenneth Brian Lassetter and his wife Geri; grandsons, Danny Huegel and Ryan Lassetter; brothers-in-law, RobertHudson and Bucky Hudson and his wife Carol.As well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lassetter was predeceased by his brother, John Michael Lassetter.
