Larry E. Caprani

Larry E. Caprani, 81, of Columbia, peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Born in Keystone, West Virginia, on March 23, 1943, he was the son of Sam and Louise Maynard Caprani. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and Christian. Larry was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family, church, and community. He was a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran. Larry was a graduate of Mullens High School. He retired as a Regional Manager with the Wrigley Company. His Christian faith was an essential part of his life. He spent a great deal of time working with the Gideons. He was a long-time member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. Surviving Larry are his loving wife of 62 years, Brenda; his children, Robin Caprani and Gene Caprani; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hardy (Shayne), Leah Chilton (Chris), Chelsea Pettry (Aaron), Shelby Caprani (fiancé, Brandon), and Jamie Curtis (Will). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Makenna Glaze, Braelyn Jarrell, and Mila Brooks. The funeral service for Larry will be held at Riverland Hills Baptist Church on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. The Reverend Bill Haselden will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
