COLUMBIA—The memorial service forMickey T. Wooten 72, of Columbia,will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with the Chaplain Suzanne Ringer officiating.The family will greet friends from2:00 p.m. – 3 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Born in Columbia, SC on November 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Clarence Wooten and Athleen Dykes Wooten.Mickey was a graduate of Airport High School. He worked for J.A. Free Company for over 40 years and finished his career M.E. I. Detailing. Mickey was a longtime member of the Gamecock Club. Surviving are his loving wife of many years, Sara Frances Wooten of the home; daughter, Melissa Wells of Mt. Pleasant, SC; step-son, Kevin Don Fabrizio of Greenville, SC; brother, Richard Wooten of Columbia; grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Ashlyn Wells, Rachel Fabrizio and Joshua Fabrizio.Those who preceded him in death besides his parents is one brother, David Wooten. The Wooten family would like to thank, All Seasons Hospice, as well as the staff of Brookdale of Lexington for their loving care, kindness and compassion.
