Paula W. Walker

Paula W. Walker, 73, of Pelion, died Saturday, September 3, 2016.Born on December 2, 1942, Dublin, GA, Paula was the daughter of the late Henry P. Woodard and Burma Ruth Freeman Woodard.She was formerly employed as Administrative Assistant at SLED for over 10 years. Paula was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Everette Walker; son, D. Ray Burr, Jr. of West Columbia; sisters, Glenda K. Brown of Pelion and Karen W. Woodcock of Pelion; brother, Freddy Woodard (Sylvia) of Gilbert; grandchild, Jordan C. Burr as well as a number of loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Chapel of Temple Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Burial will follow in the Mausoleum of Bush River Memorial Gardens.
