Rebecca Lynn Jones

Rebecca Lynn Jones, 64, of Columbia passed away on September 4, 2024. She was born in Columbia to George D. and Mary Elizabeth Griggs Skipper on June 13, 1960. Becky loved the water and enjoyed floating and swimming in Lake Murray. She worked at S & S Cafeteria and Maurice Bessinger Barbeque. Becky is survived by her sister, Jennie Skipper Livingston; her life partner, Dean Jones; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Tommy Skipper and Kemp Skipper. A memorial service will be held at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Randy Caulder will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.
