ST. MATTHEWS—Funeral service for Rita Diane “Dee Dee” Davis, 64, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday Dec. 24, 2014 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 ,burial to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The Reverend James Walker will officiate the service. Miss Davis was born in Columbia on May 21, 1950 and was called home on December 22, 2014.She was the daughter of the late Daniel Oliver Davis and Luceil Rish Davis. She is survived by her sister, Debra Lynn Waters of Columbia; niece, Melissa (Kenneth) Crocker of Lexington and four great nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her family and friends at the Florence Gressette Home and to the Calhoun County Board of Disabilities for the love and care shown to Rita.
