Ron passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Robert and Betty Johnson. He honorably served the United States Army in Vietnam. Following his service, he enrolled in New Mexico State University where he earned his master's in electrical engineering. He was an extremely smart and gifted individual. Ron could often instantly come up with solutions and think outside the box. That critical thinking led him to become a CEO in the aerospace industry, working for companies such as TRW, Rockwell, and Boeing.
Along with his talents as an engineer, he was articulate with computers and a wonderful artist, often times using acrylic paint for his paintings. He was quite sarcastic and had a wonderful, albeit dry, sense of humor; he could make you laugh in a moment's notice. One of his proudest moments in life was being involved in AA meetings where he would help others struggling with alcohol addiction. Being sober for over 50 years allowed him to help others succeed in sobriety.
Ron also found great joy and love in his family. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Johnson; daughters, Whitney Johnson; Jennifer Boryk (Andrew) and Katherine Seery (Eric Shormann); and granddaughter, Isobel Boryk.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Redmond.
