Sylvia L. Sharpe, 64, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026. She was born in Columbia, but was a daughter of a United States Navy Veteran, so she grew up throughout the country. Sylvia, known to many people she worked with as "Silly", was a loving, caring, nurturing woman. She was thoughtful with her actions and words. Her charisma and selfless nature attracted many people to her, and some would say many animals as well. Sylvia enjoyed shopping, especially at thrift stores, going to the beach, gardening, and of course listening to music (The Classics). She was known to do anything for anyone and any animal. She made time for her family, and decorating for multiple holidays including Easter and Christmas. Most importantly, Sylvia made her time special with her family, especially her grandchildren where she made memories special and unique. She is endlessly loved and will be missed immensely, we will forever hold her within our hearts.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Sharpe; daughter, Kayla Carlson (William Eckstein); step-children, Savannah Sharpe and Trevor Sharpe (Lindsey); grandchildren, Zaeden, Ashton, Brooks and Christian and 1 on the way; step-grandchildren, Troy and Theo; sisters, Tami Browder, Kim Lee Smith (Jimmy), and Beck Stoddard; brothers, Keith Hair, Jr. (Deneise), Jack Hair (Kim), and Chris Hair (Holly); and 6 loving pups.
She was predeceased by her mother, Donna Hair; second mother, Carol Lee; father, Joseph Lee; dad, Keith Hair; and sons, Michael Murrhee and Brad Carlson.
Services will be announced at a later date.
