Teresa Wells Woods

A service celebrating the life of Teresa Wells Woods, 52, of Irmo, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, with the Reverend Joshua Knott, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Teresa was born on February 6, 1972, in Columbia, SC, and departed this earthly life on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 . She is the daughter of Morris Lee Wells, Jr., and Renee Dennis Wells. Teresa was a graduate of Irmo High School, Spartanburg Methodist College, and Newberry College. She was formerly employed at Prisma Hospital as a Customer Service Representative. Teresa’s greatest joy in life was her son, Colin, and watching him grow and excel. She also enjoyed days at the beach, reading a good book, spending time with friends and family, and laughing at all the funny moments life brought her way. Survivors include her parents; her son, J. Colin Woods; her husband, David Woods; her sister, Tiffany Wells Nettles (Rob); her nephew, Brock Nettles; and the beloved family dog, Sophie.
