Terry Gould Lackey

CHAPIN—Mrs. Lackey died Friday, August 29, 2014, born in Brooklyn, NY. She was a daughter of late Paul Raymond Gould, Sr. and Anne Veronica DeVoy Gould. She was a graduate of Columbia High School and former employee of the SC Tax Commission, Dillard Paper Company, Midway Elementary School, Farm Boys of Chapin and Zorba’s of Chapin. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Wayne Lackey. Surviving are herimmediate family members; son, Larry Wayne Lackey of Chapin;stepson, Vance Hampton (Tracy) Lackey and their children, Hamp and Bailey, of Nashville, TN and stepson, Dow Osage and children, Joseph and Vivien, of Fremont, Calif. Other family members include aunt, Kate Devoy of Columbia; brother, Ray (Mirian) Gould Jr. of Florida; sisters, Dee (Dale) Anderton of Florida and Cindy (Joel) Price Sr. of Columbia and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Gould and aunt, Louise Cady. Terry was supported by her loving companion, Samuel Bruce Hagan during the last few years of her life. Funeral services for Terry Gould Lackey, 66, of Chapin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Reverend Paul Allen of Chapin United Methodist Church will officiate.Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
