Theodore Trezavant Timmons

Theodore Trezevant (Trez) Timmons Passed away peacefully on Saturday September 5, 2026, at his home in Columbia South Carolina. He was born December 3, 1936, in Columbia South Carolina, a son of the late Joseph Allen Timmons and Cuba Sandifer Timmons. He Grew up in Winnsboro and graduated from Mt Zion Institute in 1954 and received some further education at the University of South Carolina.
He worked for the SCDOT since 1955 and retired after 34 years of service in the engineering department holding several different management positions. He also retired from the South Carolina Air National Guard at McEntire SCANG with 40 years of service obtaining rank of Chief Master Sargant. He was activated during the Berlin Crisis and was Deployed at Maron Air Base, Seville, Spain. After Retiring From SCDOT, he Returned to work as a consulting Engineer for LPA Group and later Michael Baker International for 26 years before retiring in 2016. He was a charter and active member of Grace United Methodist Church He was Married to Linda Williamson Timmons Who Proceeded him in Death. He is survived by His two daughters Terri (Paul) Everman of James Island South Carolina and Amanda Timmons of Irmo South Carolina. A granddaughter Kaitlyn Everman of James Island South Carolina. One Brother, Joseph A (Janie) Timmons of Columbia South Carolina. One Sister Ann (Bob) Monroe of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Will Be held at Bush River Funeral on Tuesday September 15 at 12PM with Visitation one hour prior to the service. Entombment to follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens.
