Ginny passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Bernice Daniel Harbin and Jessie Ruth Williams Harbin. She was a woman whose greatest joy came from the people she loved. Her family was her world, and she dedicated her life to caring for, supporting and encouraging each generation with unwavering love.

Whether it was a holiday celebration, a Sunday lunch or a simple family gathering, she made every occasion feel warm and welcoming. She had a special gift of bringing everyone together. As a wife and mother, she was nurturing, strong and selfless. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a source of comfort, wisdom and endless hugs. As a friend, she was loyal, compassionate, kind and supportive.

She was very active in the Jamil Temple with her late husband, Jim, where she was a part of the Daughters of the Nile doing charity work for the Shriner’s Hospital. After spending many years as a stay-home-mom, she began a career in banking as a Customer Service Manager. She retired from Bank of America after many years of dedicated service.

She celebrated every milestone, offered a listening ear during difficult times, and made each member of the family feel deeply loved and valued. Her kindness, generosity and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed, loved always and remembered forever.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Coleman (Janet), Chris Coleman (Sharon), and Paul Coleman (Connie; children, Trent, Jess, Rory and Collen); grandchildren, Amanda Smith (Michael), Natalie Brown, Ryan Coleman, Deanna Coleman, and Blair Coleman(Zach Taylor); great-grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Emma Smith, and Isabella Brown; sisters, Catheryn Crosby (Ken); and brother, Danny Harbin (Ellen).

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, James Aubrey Coleman, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Vaughn, Bernice Donahue, Rose Harris and brother, Bill Harbin.
